Doug Kaess, Cody Buffalo Memorial
This roping is produced by Adobe Park Arena and the family of Doug Kaess, in memory of his life, his devotion to his family, and his love of the sport of Team Roping. The Doug Kaess Memorial has grown into one of the most prestigious events in Colorado as well as the surrounding Mountain States.
This year Adobe Park Arena has decided to add on the Cody Buffalo memorial as a tribute to Cody’s life and his family. Cody’s love for roping was shared with him by Doug and Tyler Kaess. Cody’s love for not only the sport of team roping and the Doug Kaess family inspired his devotion and aspirations for the Doug Kaess Memorial. Cody was one the biggest supporters for the Doug Kaess Memorial through the years since its inception.
All profits generated by this roping are donated to scholarships given to Colorado Junior Rodeo Association and local High School applicants.
This roping is a straight open with no handicaps, and it brings in the highest level of competitors, including around 20 NFR qualifying teams each year. It has attracted the attention of The Roping Show with Tyler Magnus and was featured for several years in episodes on RFD-TV. We would like to utilize this level of competition, as well as Doug’s and Cody’s reputation in the rodeo world, to further improve its size and quality, as it has each year since it was the annual Doug Kaess Memorial.
Because this is a non-profit event, all of our quality prizes and added money are provided by our family and sponsorships. With the help of your company, we hope to bring the level of this roping up to that of other famous competitions such as the BFI and the George Strait.
In return for your generous donation, advertisement and endorsement will be on display with your company banner in the Adobe Park Arena. In addition, your company’s involvement will be announced and endorsed throughout the roping by our professional announcer.
Enclosed on the following page you will find a list of sponsor packages with various advertisement opportunities. We hope that you will be as enthusiastic about your involvement in this event as we are in its growth and professional development.
